Movement & Merging
- Swipe or use arrow keys/'WASD' keys to slide every wolf in a direction until they hit a wall, obstacle, prey, or another wolf.Any move you make affects the whole pack at once.
- Merge identical wolves to rank up.When two wolves of the same rank collide, they combine into the next rank. Higher ranks are rarer, score more, and unlock access to stronger prey.
Prey & Predators
- Capture prey with the required rank shown on the tile.Prey tiles don’t move and block their cell until captured. Each prey tile shows the wolf rank needed to capture it. Move a wolf of that rank (or higher, depending on level rules) onto the prey to capture it and earn points.
- Wolf ranks trigger specific prey spawns.In Classic and Survival, higher wolf ranks will spawn different prey types on the board. Hunter levels introduce Caterpillars and Mice, mid ranks unlock Rabbits, Deer, and Elk, and top ranks can bring Moose onto the board.
- Predators and sleeping wolves add risk.Grizzlies are deadly predators that can kill wolves unless you’ve first collected the right resource (like a fish from marked water tiles). Sleeping wolves stay fixed in place until you merge a matching rank into them to “wake” and upgrade them.
Terrain & Board Expansion
- Terrain and obstacles change how wolves move.Ridges act as solid walls. Forest and water tiles are passable terrain that make wolves stop on them first and can hide prey, stars, or other surprises depending on the level.
- In Survival, Adventure, and Daily, the grid can expand.If the board is full and no merges or prey captures are available but you still have moves left, the grid grows by one row and one column. In Survival, each expansion also adds new ridge tiles along the new edge; in Adventure and Daily, the board simply expands without placing extra ridges.
Stars & Long-Term Progression
- Stars are the long-term progression that drives your Star Rank, and are also used to purchase items inside the Den.Runs in every mode feed ⭐ into your All-time Stars. Classic, Survival, and Daily reward stars for achieving rank and prey-capture milestones. Daily and Adventure also reward bonus stars based on how well you finish: every move spared upon successful completion of a level is how many stars you earn.
Modes & End Conditions
Classic Mode:
Ends when the board is full and no merge or capture is possible. Focuses on ranks, prey captures, and high scores.
Survival Mode:
Uses a limited move pool. Limited moves. The grid expands as you survive. Strong merge streaks earn more moves back — but a miss streak works the opposite way. The board can expand, and the run ends when you run out of moves.
Adventure Mode:
Level-based mode with objectives. Uses a move pool and board expansion, but the run ends when you fail the level objective or run out of moves. Stars are rewarded based on moves spared upon completion.
Daily Mode:
One unique challenge each day. Uses a move pool and board expansion. Stars are rewarded based on how many moves you finish with. The run ends when you succeed or run out of moves.
