Every move has a cost
Survival takes the familiar Grid Wolf board and adds a limited move pool. Efficient merges matter twice: they improve your pack and can help your run stay alive. Strong merge streaks can return moves, while a miss streak works in the opposite direction.
The board can grow
If the board fills while you still have moves remaining and no current merge or prey capture is available, Survival can expand the grid by one row and one column. New ridge tiles are added along the expanded edge, so surviving longer also makes the board more complicated.
Useful Survival habits
- Prefer moves that create more than one future merge.
- Do not spend several moves cleaning up a poor formation if you can avoid creating it in the first place.
- Keep an escape lane around ridges and prey.
- Think about your next two moves before committing a high-rank wolf to an edge.
Survival ends when your move pool reaches zero. Your best score, highest rank, longest run and merge-streak performance can feed the game's leaderboard statistics when signed in.
